Eliza Skinner is an LA based comedian described by Time Out NY as “definitely one to watch.” Her success as a staff writer on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” led her to being named head writer on TBS’s new series, “Drop the Mic.” Previously she was a co-producer on TruTV’s “Adam Ruins Everything,” writer/correspondent on “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell” (produced by CHRIS ROCK), a staff writer for Funny Or Die, and she most recently wrote for the Comedy Central’s 2017 Colossal Clusterfest. She is a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York and LA and hosts the long running show “Turnt Up! With Eliza Skinner,” during which comedians face off in series of one-on-one rap battles. She also has a musical improv show “Skinner Box” which is currently running at UCB Sunset. In 2014, Eliza was honored to be chosen as one of the “New Faces of Comedy” at the Montreal Comedy Festival.
